What’s going to happen to me? I Forgot to certify my logs for one day

For context I’ve been driving for a year and six months with NO violations or tickets of any kind..

I got hit with a violation coming back from Texas I missed the bypass for 220 in Shreveport, officer pulled me and I got hit with a level 3 inspection right after the construction on 20.

Officer was polite and understanding. Hit me with a violation for forgetting to certify my logs the previous day.

I contacted lawyers to fight this beings our Orbcom(ELD) system has been malfunctioning making it increasingly difficult to certify.

The company suspended me for 3 days and is giving me refresher training. I’m wondering if this is justified; if I should be worried; or if I’m overreacting?

What’s going to happen?
Is the company right in suspending me for 3 days?
Will there be points on my licenses?
Etc…
