A truck driver discovered a trapped kitten during his pre-trip.

I recently wrote an article about doing effective pre-trip (and post-trip) inspections. But a video posted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter) showed what happened when a truck driver found an unexpected stowaway during his pre-trip.
The Ohio State Patrol of Northeast Ohio posted, “Watch this meow-velous rescue of a kitten stuck in a semi’s wheel well. This seemingly im-paw-sible rescue mission had a happy ending…thanks to the purrfect teamwork by all on scene!”

A curious kitten had gotten itself stuck in between the wheels of the drive duals while doing his pre-trip inspection on the Ohio Turnpike in Portage County.
“Man, he really don’t want to come out of there,” one of the rescue team says after they’ve loosened the wheel.
“Thankfully you found her before you drove off,” said one of the animal shelter people taking custody of the kitten, after the successful rescue.
“I actually do my pre-trip,” the driver said.
