I feel robbed

The date that it was adjusted for was a day I got towed and I was waiting in the truck unable to turn the truck on and so I was sitting in it with no ac and barely have the windows open for hours to have a tow truck pick me up. And even at that the truck had turned off on me 3 times before and I was told to keep driving it and I know I shouldn’t have but I am new to trucking and wanted to get home already. Well after the truck turned off and wouldn’t turn on for an hour my boss finally decided to call for a town truck. I drive for a 3rd party. And the driver trainer just told me to stay clocked in until I was dropped off which is what I did but clearly my boss wanted to adjust my time to the time I was supposed to be back in the yard and so I feel like I waited in the hot ass truck for no reason and I hadn’t noticed until after I got paid. I feel like just walking out of the job but my very formal wife says to put in a 2 week notice which I do not think they deserve. Like I said I feel very robbed of my time and like I will just get taken advantage of even worse in the future. What would you guys do ?
