How many turn signal blinks do you give until you change lanes?

If you give them 5 blinks all the cars start cramming up like crabs in a bucket and then you end up stuck behind the slow car or truck.

I only give people 2 blinks and Im already moving over. Teslas seem to be asleep going 10 under flowing traffic speeds until you decide to turn on the blinkers then they floor it doing 100 as you're trying to get over, some are daring enough to go all the way on the shoulder so you can't get in front even though there's 4-6 lanes available to your left.

Another favorite of mine is when I am merging onto the freeway with my turn signals blinking for a good 10-20 seconds and cars coming up go parallel just right on your tires even if you creep a bit in their lane they speed up just enough to your door where you could make eye contact. I just hit the brakes get behind them with the high beams on yet they slow back down under the speed you were merging at. I don't expect people to move over one lane but at least use common sense to step on it since trucks take a while to match freeway speeds especially when loaded.
