This bag is amazing! I’m one of those people who needs a full sized keyboard to keep from aggravating my carpal tunnel. This is the first bookbag I’ve found that can fully contain a full size keyboard, two laptops, a tablet, file folders and all my mobile cords and office supplies with room to spare. The only con I can find is that it holds so much that I have to be very conscious of what I put in this bag because it can get pretty hefty to carry. Even weighted down, it’s still very comfortable to carry and the weight seems to be evenly distributed. The shoulder straps don’t dig into your shoulders and the bag sits well without pulling you back. Sitting it on the floor is another story; you will need to take care in how you sit it down with consideration to what you have packed as it tends to flop backwards.
The construction of the bag is solid and there’s nothing “cheap” feeling about it. Stitches are uniform and seams are well constructed; nothing feels like use may tear the seam or pull it apart. The pockets open up widely are all easy to access and there’s plenty of options to allow the end user to personalize how the bag is used to suit their purposes. I especially love the smaller satchel area with the clips that allows easy access to the items I use most frequently. The nets on the side are a nice size and I’m able to easily fit my 30oz slim tumbler into the net on either size and feel confident that it won’t get thrown out if I’m active while carrying my bookbag. The anti-theft pocket on the part of the bag that would go against your lower back is large enough to hold a large wallet (8″x4.5″x2″) and my keys with a key fob. If you aren’t looking for this pocket, you won’t easily recognize that it’s there even with contents in it.
With all the netted pockets within the larger pockets and small zippered pouches throughout the exterior of the bag, this backpack would be suitable for a wide range of needs from students to first responders who work extended shifts to hikers…anyone who needs to organize what they need into a small mobile pack that can be easily carried. I use my back daily for work and being in disaster recovery, I know I’m hard on the things I use – I did opt for the extended warranty. That being said though, as tough as this backpack seems to be, I don’t think I’ll have the need to use the warranty!
If you’re considering this backpack, you won’t be disappointed!
