It works perfectly with good image quality. The fit is way too tight in my opinion and I can’t get the bottom of the camera completely seated in the tailgate. I thought about taking it back out and filing it down some to fit but after reading some reviews of the plastic tabs breaking off I haven’t mustered the courage. I called the manufacturer and they recommended heating the plastic camera frame with a heat gun to get it seated properly and also stated that install damage isn’t covered under their warranty if the tabs would happen to break off during install/removal. The park assist lines on the camera aren’t accurate at all on the drivers side. All in all not a bad camera, but incredibly overpriced for the terrible fit.

When installed it has a big gap between the pull handle and this surround, it doesn’t sit flat and gets pulled out with the handle when trying to open the tailgate. When I tried to take it back out, three of the four tabs that apparently hold it in place, broke off. I never got a chance to plug it in a test the image quality but it won’t even stay in my tailgate now. Waste of money, this will be going in my trash can, not my tailgate. And of course the original surround goes right in with no issues. The Master tailgaters surround is a way worse plastic and is cheap and brittle in the hands.
