I bought this camera after a suggestion on one of my equine social media pages. I have not regretted the purchase. I use it inside the trailer and used it over the weekend to watch my horse overnight. I hooked it directly to 110 and it stays on continuously. It only uses Wi-Fi on my phone and no data. It is magnetic but it also has Velcro strips to attach to non-metal. I love this little camera, bought it on prime day, and have promoted this at my equine events.

70 ft is a joke

Pros – screen quality and images are fantastic. Pairs automatically. Very simple

Cons – 70 ft range is absolutely, positively false. My screen and camera stop talking to each other before the end of my 6ft truck bed. I was hoping to use this in my 20 ft stock trailer to watch horses (so for those of you mathing, based on the 2 locations in my trailers I wanted to use, anywhere from 16ft at the front to 30ish ft at the back). Obviously thats a no go.

So, I think this would work if you were looking for a backup cam on your car, but definitely not for hauling in any capacity. Not sure how the other reviewers did it.

I tried it first in my small two horse bumper pull. Worked great! I could keep an eye on my horse and could see her clearly. Inside the trailer is dim, so the color was more like night vision. I used it on an trip that was one hour there and back. You do have to remember to turn it off once you arrive and back on before you pull out again. My trailer is steel so the magnet was very strong. If it’s an aluminum trailer, you will have to find or install a piece of steel for the magnet to attach to or use another method to mount. I love it! Not an expensive camera and monitor, well worth the $100

Super Easy to Use

Seriously easy to use. Just a plug in, stick magnet camera on back and it’s ready. The first time I used it, the sun was coming down and hitting it so it looked like a Black/white picture. However it is a nice color photo. Now it’s not nearly the vibrant colors shown on the product pictures but it is good. To me it doesn’t compare to the backup camera built in on my truck or my built in larger display but we have a hauling truck that doesn’t have one so to connect to a trailer (gooseneck or ball hitch), this is perfect. I was disappointed that it didn’t have the backup guides as there used to be a photo for the product showing this feature when I purchased — I’m assuming seller removed that picture as I pointed it out to them. For the price in comparison to others, I’m pleased with the unit.
