Behind the Allsup's off of US 54 in Guymon, Oklahoma. The area had received 7.61" of rain in the previous 8hrs (according to Oklahoma Mesonet) yet dude here decided to drive onto the dirt/grass behind the concrete parking pad, presumably to turn around.
Bonus fuck up: the trailer visible just astern of the Swift driver was also stuck in the mud.
Closest concrete was 40' behind him at about a 30° angle. Passed the wrecker on my way to my shipper, though in fairness he might've been going to extract the bobtail that got washed into a hard-sided 2' deep culvert by flash flood waters on US 54.
Additional fun fact: drove under that storm front on my way into Guymon. Wipers on high, hazard lights flashing, 35mph and still could barely see. Strangest of all there were literally thousands of frogs on the road between Canadian TX and Guymon. Positively apocalyptic!
