In the long run would it be bad to lose my 1 year cdl a dry van experience if I got a job with a concrete boom truck? The area where I’m moving the pay is really low for cdl an and it’s happened twice already that companies just ghost me after offering conditional offer letter and getting the process started. From my understanding if I get a job that isn’t tractor trailer I “lose all experience” within a year and pretty much have to start from the bottom if I ever go back to a cdl a job. Any advice?
Concrete boom truck job is offer 28+ an hour
Around 2000 a week gross
Whereas cdl a is 1350 a week gross (home daily) no opportunity to make extra money because of mileage pay/ unload pay
