A while back, I made a post trying to see if anyone had any good ideas for preventing our co-pilots from opening the windows. Well, I have found a solution. Or rather, a kind mechanic has given me a solution.
If you take out the screws on the door controller module(fancy word for the thing with the window switches on it), there are these little plastic dohickies that are basically stilts for the switches. If you take them out, the rockers for the window and door locks won't be able to activate the buttons on the board that actually control things.
This process is easily reversible, so it won't damage anything.
So, now all I have to worry about is the driver's side controls, and I just pop out and unplug that controller at night. FYI, if you happen to have a bottle opener, that makes popping that out very easy.
Hope this helps.
